Council in Afrin

In the presence of Eng. Muhammad Saeed Suleiman, Minister of Local Administration and Services in the Syrian Interim Government, Mr. Muhammad Sheikh Rashid, Vice President of the Local Council of the city of Afrin, and representatives of the Syrian-Turkish Electric Power Company, the power station in Afrin was operated after a nine-year interruption. Professor Muhammad Sheikh Rashid indicated that The first phase aims to deliver electricity to the city of Afrin and the district of Jenderes, followed by the second phase, which is to deliver electricity to the rest of the districts, stressing the need to expedite the delivery of electricity to every house in the Olive Branch area.
